Rs 34m for women projects

BAHAWALPUR: The Punjab government has allocated Rs 34 million for women empowerment projects this year and has initiated an awareness campaign in this regard.
It was said by PML-N MPA Mrs Fauzia Ayub Qureshi while talking to a delegation of the women belonging to her constituency here on Saturday. The MPA said that a free women helpline with a cost of Rs 29 million had been started to promote women empowerment. She said that Rs 350 million had been released for the women development funds.
