Girls outshine boys in Faisalabad Matric result

FAISALABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad, announced the results of Matriculation annual examination in a function here on Saturday.
Announcing the results, BISE Controller Examinations Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal said that total 132,639 candidates appeared in the examination of whom 93,868 candidates were declared successful with pass percentage of 70.77.
Overall top positions: Mahnoor (Roll No 405690) of the Divisional Model School and College, Faisalabad, stood first by securing 1079 marks while Fatima Mehmood (Roll No 405735) of the Laboratory Girls High School, Faisalabad, stood second by bagging 1076 marks while Zartashia Hafeez (Roll No 416312) of the Convent Marry Girls High School, Toba Tek Singh, stood third.
Science Group (Boys): Muhammad Bilal (Roll No 452071) of the AW Grammar Boys High School, Jaranwala, stood first by securing 1068 marks while the second position was shared by Ali Sehram (Roll No 452074) and Abdul Ahad (Roll No 452076) of the AW Grammar School, Jaranwala, by securing 1065 marks. The third position was shared by Muhammad Salman Afzal (Roll No 443909) of the DPS, Faisalabad, and Haseeb Babar (Roll No 452070) of the AW Grammar School, Jaranwala, by securing 1064 marks.
General group (Boys): Muhammad Hasnain (Roll No 531249) of the Wisdom House School, Faisalabad, stood first by securing 972 marks while Muhammad Umer (Roll No 530834) of the Minhajul Quran Model School, Faisalabad, stood second by getting 950 marks. Ahsan Nadeem (Roll No 531629) of Hassan Bin Sabit High School, Faisalabad, stood third with 947 marks.
General group (Girls): Uswa Atta (Roll No 495759) of the Government Girls High School, Faisalabad, stood first by securing 1030 marks while the second position was obtained by Fatima Naeem (Roll No 495789) of the Government Girls High School No-2, Faisalabad, by securing 1023 marks. Khadeeja Bibi (Roll No 490672) of the Laboratory Girls High School, Faisalabad, and Kiran Mirza (Roll No 494591) of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Chak 203/RB, shared the third position by securing 1015 marks.
