MANSEHRA: The former provincial minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate for the district nazim slot, Akhtar Hussain Shah, has claimed that his party would install district government in Mansehra with the support of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and an independent group. “We are in a position to install our district government with the support of JUI-F, JI and an independent group,” he told reporters in Dodial on Wednesday. The JUI-F district councillor-elect Mohammad Nawaz Khan was also present on the occasion. Akhtar Hussain Shah said as his party had bagged seats in 21 wards out of 59 and that it was in a position to install its government in the district with the support of allies. “We have secured 21 wards and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf secured 13. We are in a position to install our government,” he said. The candidate said as the electioneering process for the district offices would start after re-polling on July 30, his party would prove its strength in the 59 wards of the district council. Akhtar Hussain Shah said that the PML-N had already got majority in Mansehra and Balakot tehsils of district and would form governments in those tehsils.
