Rawalpindi: Senator Najma Hameed has unanimously been elected chairperson of the Viqar-un-Nisa Noon Girls Higher Secondary School by its governing body.Najma Hameed has also remained councilor and head of different ministries during her political career. She was elected as an MPA in 1985. She has recently been re-elected as senator for a second tenure of 6 years. It is an honour for Viqar-un-Nisa School that a lady like Najma Hameed is associated with it for 40 years, said the staff. Najma Hameed has also worked with Lady Noon as her right hand and on a number of occasions officiated as chairperson on her behalf.
