PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Senior Minister Inayatullah Khan on Wednesday said the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) had no reservations over the joining of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led provincial government by any party.
Addressing a press conference, he said the PTI got the majority in the May 2013 general elections. He said his party would not oppose the rejoining of the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) in the provincial government.
The JI lawmaker said the provincial government had earmarked Rs42 billion in the budget for the fiscal year 2015-16 for local governments. He said the government was planning to construct five flyovers, beautify the Grand Trunk (GT) Road, construct an Expressway in Hayatabad, Ring Road, and other development projects.In reply to a question, he said that reservations over the recruitment in the Galiyat Development Authority would be addressed.
