more male students and 1,111 female students cleared their exams in D grade and nine male and 96 female students got E grade, respectively.
Position holders
The top six positions were all bagged by students of the Iqra Huffaz Degree College.
Hafiza Hafsa Anwer (roll number 561516) obtained 952 marks out of a total 1,100 and secured the first position with 86.55 percent marks.
Hafiza Ayesha Ilyas (roll number 561514) received 939 marks and stood second with 85.36 percent marks while whereas Hafiza Afifa Bint-e-Qamar (roll number 561512) was third with 935 marks, 85 percent.
At least 42 colleges or HSS out of a total 167 educational institutes affiliated with the BIEK produced less than 20 percent result and students from 16 of such colleges failed to pass in a single paper.
Humanities private
The theory exams of humanities group (private) were held between April 28 and May 16. Around 10,296 candidates registered for the exams out of which 3,957 candidates passed the exam, making the pass percentage 40.19 percent.
As many as 3,865 male students registered and 3,640 appeared in the papers out of which 1,167 students cleared their exams.
The pass percentage was 32.06 percent.
Meanwhile, 6,431 female candidates registered out of which 6,205 students appeared and 2,790 managed to pass the exam making the pass percentage around 44.96 percent.
Not a single male or female candidate managed to receive A-1 grade, while 21 male and 65 female students secured A grade, 192 male and 561 female students got B grade, 465 male and 1,239 female passed in C grade, 451 male and 856 female students cleared their papers in D grade while 38 male and 69 female candidates got E grade.
The BIEK controller of examinations mentioned that at least 74 cases of using unfair means were reported.
Position holders
Soleha Mobeen (roll number 951603) bagged the first position with 858 marks, 78 percent. Bilqees Shazadi (roll number 950240) stood second with 855 marks, 77.73 percent, while Rabia Javed (roll number 950495) was third with 852 marks, 77.45 percent.
Home economics group
The exams were held between April 28 and May 20. A total of 318 candidates registered for the exam out of which 315 appeared and 161 cleared the papers, making the overall pass percentage 51.11 percent.
According to the BIEK gazette, five candidates received A-1 grade, 38 students A grade, 44 B grade, 55 students C grade and 19 candidates were declared to have cleared their exams with D grade.
Position holders
Saniya Jamal (roll number 100707) obtained 994 marks out of a total of 1,200, and secured the first position with 82.83 percent score.
Maliha Fayyaz (roll number 100608) stood second with 987 marks, 82.25 percent, and Manal Mirza was third with 979 marks, 81.58 percent.
PE diploma
A total of 38 candidates registered for the exam held between April 29 and May 6 and 33 of them appeared.
Out of them 27 students cleared their papers making the overall pass percentage 81.82 percent.
Only two students managed to get A grade while 21 candidates passed their exams with B grade marks and four secured C grade.
Special candidates
Exams for special candidates of humanities regular group were held between April 28 and May 16. Around 90 candidates, including 40 male and 50 female students, registered for the exam and cleared their papers.
As many as 10 male and 33 female candidates received A-1 grade, 18 male and 14 female students A grade, 11 male and three female candidates were declared to have passed with B grade and one male student have C grade marks.
Position holders
All top three positions were bagged by the Dewa Higher Secondary School.
Nida Shams (roll number 590543) bagged the first position with 979 marks, 89 percent.
Maryam Ali (roll number 590542) got the second position with 960 marks, 87.27 percent while Iqra Khan (roll number 590537) stood third with 954 marks, 86.27 percent.
