BAHAWALPUR: Four people, including a bride and bridegroom, died and five injured in different incidents on Tuesday. The bride and bridegroom drowned when their speeding car plunged into Desert Branch Canal near Lal Sohanra National Park. Bridegroom Uneeb and bride Sidra and other family members were coming from Khechi Wala district Bahawalnagar. Rescue-1122 staff recovered the body of Uneeb while the body of Sidra was not found till the filing of this report. A road accident occurred near Chak- 41 Fateh on Chishtian-Qazi Wala Road when a speeding bus hit a man and a woman, who were moving on a motorcycle. The bus overturned after hitting the motorcycle, leaving two people dead and six others injured. The injured were rushed to THQ Hospital Chishtian.
