Buzdar pays surprise visit to Children’s Hospital

LAHORE: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar paid a surprise visit to Children’s Hospital after the inauguration of drug addiction centre where he visited different wards and inquired about the facilities from attendants.

He directed to carry out bone marrow transplant of a child patient at the earliest on the request of a woman. Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said that Children’s Hospital was providing quality healthcare facilities to the patients and added that the Punjab government would establish five mother-and-child hospitals in remote areas of the province on a need basis. These hospitals will provide quality healthcare facilities to the children at their doorsteps. He said that more funds have been provided to the Children’s Hospital for the provision of free medicines and other necessary resources will also be given on a priority basis.
