Paramilitary soldiers on Friday arrested a notorious motorbike-lifter for being involved in more than 350 motorcycle-snatching and theft cases.
According to a spokesman for the Sindh Rangers, the soldiers conducted an intelligence-based raid in Jaffar Tayyar Society in Malir and arrested Zafarullah alias Boring Wala. During the initial interrogation, the suspect disclosed that his gang comprises six members, of whom three used to steal and snatch motorcycles from different parts of the city, while the other three transported the motorcycles from Karachi to Khuzdar. He added that so far they had transported over 350 motorcycles.
He said he also possessed expertise in making master keys of motorcycles. Raids were said to be underway to arrest his associates. The soldiers also claimed to have seized weapons and recovered looted valuables from the suspect, who was later handed over to police for further legal action.
