LAHORE: Robbers killed a man on resistance in the Defence police limits on Tuesday. The victim identified as Ali Afzal, 49, was left behind a wife and three children to mourn. He had come out of a money exchange when robbers intercepted him. The victim offered resistance over which the robbers opened firing as a result he sustained injuries and died on the spot. The robbers made off with Rs8 lakh. Further investigation is under way and police have shifted the body to the morgue.
