PESHAWAR: Around 100 girl students participated in the week-long community service drive, which concluded at the Jinnah College for Women, University of Peshawar (UoP) on Wednesday.
The students planted 500 saplings, donated 100 bags of blood besides cleaning and decorating the premises, laboratories, and lawns of the college. UoP Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Asif Khan was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the drive. A documentary was displayed at the ceremony to highlight the activities carried out by students during the drive.
The vice-chancellor lauded the performance of the college in both curricular and extra-curricular activities.
