Indian-origin dentist Preethi Reddy found dead in Australia

SYDNEY: A 32-year-old Indian-origin dentist Preethi Reddy, who went missing from one of Sydney's busiest areas under mysterious circumstances, was found dead on Wednesday.

Preethi's body, stuffed in a suitcase with multiple stab wounds, was found in her car which was parked in a street in eastern Sydney, Indian media, citing the New South Wales Police, reported.

The investigation officials also said that the main suspect in the killing, her former boyfriend, died in a road accident that seemed deliberate, shortly after she was 'murdered'.

She was reported missing by her family on Sunday (March 3), as she had not arrived home from a dental convention at St Leonards.

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of brutal murder that left many in shock. She last made contact with her family about 11 am on Sunday, spotted at a fast food restaurant on George Street near King Street.
