Rapist sent on remand

OKARA: The Hujra Shah Muqeem police obtained a three-day remand of an alleged rapist from a court on Friday. On Thursday, a 17-year-old orphan girl of village Rajowal came to the Hujra Shah Muqeem police station along with councillor M Amin and got registered a case against her brothers Sajid and Abid Ali for allegedly raping her constantly for two years. Police arrested her one brother Abid Ali and obtained his court remand. Police sources disclosed that the DNA test would be conducted within a couple of days, however, the police were investigating the case on scientific lines. Sajid is still at large.
