People urged to elect sincere candidate

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Jamaat-e-Islami central leader Hafiz Salman Butt has urged the masses to elect a sincere candidate in the NA-108 by-polls.
Addressing a JI workers’ convention here on Sunday, he said that the notions of right and left had lost their identity and now the era of right and wrong had set in. Speaking on the occasion, JI information secretary Ameerul Azeem termed democracy in the country a ploy to usurp rights of the people. He urged the masses to wake up for their rights. JI ameer Saifullah Sahi, JI candidate for NA-108 Riaz Farooq Sahi and JI Punjab vice-president Azhar Iqbal Hassan, in their addresses, urged the people to support the JI in the by-election.
