‘PPP workers being politically victimised in Malakwal’

MALAKWAL: PPP leader and ex-MNA Nadeem Afzal Chan has said that the party workers are being politically victimised in Tehsil Malakwal.
He said this while talking to The News here on Sunday. The PPP leader alleged that on the directive of local PML-N MNA, police personnel of Bosal Police Chowki tortured several PPP workers including Nawaz without any reason. He said that Nawaz and other workers were polling agents of the PPP candidates in 2013 elections. He demanded PM Nawaz Sharif and Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif take notice of the issue to stop alleged political victimisation of the PPP workers.
CASH, VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: Dacoits took away cash and other valuables in four incidents here on Sunday.
A youth was on his way by a bike when three dacoits intercepted him at Mauza Mano Chak and snatched his bike, a mobile phone and cash from him. Thieves stole cattle of Khizar Hayat from his cattle farm at Bahoo Wal. Thieves broke into the store of Zafar at Pind Makko and took away valuables. Dacoits entered the dera of Mukhtar at Chak 49 and took away valuables.
