Bogies derailment suspends railway traffic for 4 hours

TOBA TEK SINGH: Three bogies of a Karachi-bound goods train coming from Faisalabad derailed due to some technical fault near Kot Saleem Shaheed railway station on Friday.
Train traffic remained suspended for about four hours. Akbar Express coming from Quetta for Lahore remained stopped at Janiwala while Karakoram Express coming from Karachi for Lahore was stopped at Gojra.
Passengers staged a demonstration and chanted slogans against railway officials.
Millat Express and Pakistan Express trains were rerouted from Khanewal to other tracks. After repair of track, the traffic was restored.
