ISLAMABAD: Senator of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), General (retd), Abdul Qayyum said the government had launched operation to flush out target killers, extortionists and achieving peace for the people of Karachi.
Talking to a news channel on Wednesday he said: “Karachi is an economic hub and centre of the country where people hailing from all provinces are working.” Senator Abdul Qayyum said Karachi operation was not being conducted against any particular party. He said the government launched the operation to apprehend criminals so that the people could enjoy permanent relief from such elements and continue their peaceful life without any problem. In reply to a question, he said the Muttahida should cooperate with Rangers and police to identify negative elements disturbing peace of the city.
