While the Election Commission of Pakistan has declared all polling stations of the NA-246 constituency as ‘sensitive’, DIG West Feroz Shah on Sunday said that none of the contesting parties were following the electoral code of conduct. Speaking to Geo News, the DIG said that out of the 213 polling stations, 57 were based in compounds and “all of them are sensitive” with regards to security. He said all political parties were legally bound to inform the area police three days prior to organising a rally, a rule which was not being followed by any of them.
