Seven fishermen from Sindh travelling in Sakhi Sultan Abdul Wahab Shah Jillani boat (20611-B) were injured when unidentified men in Al-Dolat boat fired at them at Shamal Bundar, near the Pasni fish harbour, said Noor Muhammad Leghari, the secretary of Sindh livestock and fisheries department on Monday.
In a statement, Leghari confirmed that the injured fishermen had been rescued and taken to a hospital in Pasni by personnel of the Pakistan Coast Guards. He said the attackers remained unidentified since their faces were covered. He said he had contacted his counterpart in Balochistan.
