A PNS Aslat has set sail for Karachi after a successfully evacuating 147 Pakistani nationals and 36 foreign nationals in Al-Mukalla, Yemen.
The foreigner include 11 Indians, eight Chinese nationals, five from Philippines, four from the UK, two each from Indonesia and Syria, and one national each from Canada, Egypt, Jordan and UAE.
They along with the 147 Pakistani nationals were safely taken onboard the PNS Aslat which reached Al-Mukallah on the morning of April 2.
PNS Aslat will enter Karachi port on the evening of April 7.
Besides safeguarding maritime interests, Pakistan Navy remains committed to ensure safe evacuation of stranded Pakistanis as well as foreign nationals on humanitarian grounds from Yemen.
On Friday, a special PIA flight carrying 45 stranded Pakistani nationals from Yemen arrived at the Jinnah International Airport here from the federal capital.
Earlier in the day, the special flight carrying 176 stranded Pakistanis from Yemen arrived at Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad, of which 45 were brought to the metropolis.
On Sunday, a PIA flight had brought 502 Pakistanis from the Yemeni city of Hodeida to Karachi.
