In Dr Akmal Hussain and Dr Khalid Malik’s article ‘Triggering transformation’ (May 24), the first line of the tenth paragraph reads: ‘For the universal provision of school education, we should make education compulsory from nursery level to the point when a child turns nine’. However, it should have read the following: ‘For the universal provision of school education, we should make education compulsory from nursery to nine years in Pakistan’. The error is regretted.
