Days after Turkey ordered Israeli ambassador over the killings of Palestinians near Israeli border fence in Gaza, son of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Nethanyahu has posted a controversial image on his Instagram page.
According to reports, Yair Netanyahu posted a picture of Turkish flag inscribed with " *uck you Turkey".
Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that associates of the prime minister has said "Yair Netanyahu is a private person, as is his Instagram account."
Beside expelling the Israeli ambassador, Turkey has also recalled its envoys to Tel Aviv and Washington in protest against the bloodshed in Gaza where over 60 people have been killed by Israeli forces.
A war of words broke out between the prime ministers of Turkey and Israel as US shifted its embassy to East Jerusalem that led to massive protests.
Erdogan on Tuesday said “Netanyahu is the PM of an apartheid state. ... He has the blood of Palestinians on his hands and can’t cover up crimes by attacking Turkey.”
Responding to Erdogan, Netanyahu said , “A man who sends thousands of Turkish soldiers to hold the occupation of northern Cyprus and invades Syria will not preach to us when we defend ourselves from an attempt by Hamas. A man whose hands are stained with the blood of countless Kurdish citizens in Turkey and Syria is the last person to preach to us about combat ethics.”
