From Our Correspondent
JHANG: The assistant commissioner on Wednesday stopped the possession holders from sale and any kind of construction on 200 kanal state land till the final decision of its case and fixed hearing on March 29.
Talking to newsmen outside the AC Office, DBA senior member Syed Shabbar Raza said that the state land worth billions of rupees was allotted to a UK-based businessman for establishing a factory to provide job opportunities to the locals some years ago. But the businessman sold the factory and land to a Karachi-based businessman. The DBA office-bearer said that the land was later sold to local businessmen, who were establishing a residential colony on it.
