4-day spring festival begins today

BUREWALA: A four-day spring festival and flower show titled ‘Bahar Aayee’ is starting from today (Tuesday) and it would last upto match 28th under the aegis of Tehsil Municipal Administration at Quaid-i-Azam Stadium Burewala.
According Assistant Commissioner Burewala Saifullah Sajid, the festival would start from March 24. The AC said on March 25th PML-N MPA Irshad Ahmad Arain will inaugurate the event while on 26th PML-N MNA Nazir Ahmad Arain and MPA Mian Irfan Khan Daultana would be the chief guests while 27th March is reserved for ladies and MPAs Shameela Aslam and Farah Manzoor Rind would be chief guests while on March 28th MPA Muhammad Yousaf Kaseliya and Bilal Akbar Bhatti would be the guests of honour.
MNA Syed Sajid Mehdi Saleem would preside over the day proceedings. TMA announced a competition amongst the different schools and colleges and nursery farms while special arrangements have been made for the entertainment of the masses and special security measures have been taken by the police.
