ISLAMABAD: Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has issued show cause notice to Auditor General Buland Akhtar Rana for not appearing in the hearing.
Justice Nasirul Mulk headed a meeting of the Council that heard reference about removal of Auditor General Buland Akhtar Rana from his post. The council also summoned him in three days. During the proceeding, former Controller General of Accounts Farah Ayub forwarded reference, which said Buland Akhtar was affecting the case proceedings against him in Supreme Judicial Council. She also claimed that the auditor general was harassing the witnesses.
