Two wild cheetahs pounced on to a vehicle at a wild safari in Tanzania, leaving the tourist completely appalled at the unforeseen attack.
The tourist from the U.S state of Seattle, identified as Britton Hayes can be seen entirely motionless, in the released footage after a cheetah had entered the jeep and looked around.
Hayes was in Tanzania on spring break, with his step-uncle who is employed with Grand Ruaha Safaris when the occurrence had taken place.
Another cheetah had jumped on to the vehicle but remained outside on the bonnet, whereas the one inside lingered on for an approximate of 10 minutes before losing curiosity and walking away.
The video was posted by Hayes’ mother Elisa on social media who stated: “Thank goodness the guide helped my kid remain calm (even though he was scared to death) and avoid eye contact until the cheetah no longer saw him as a threat.”
