TIMERGARA:Thepensioners in Lower Diron Saturdayaskedthe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to release their group insurance amount as per thedecision of the PeshawarHighCourt(PHC).
They threatened tofile acontempt of court applicationagainst the governmentin the PHCif the decision was not implemented forthwith.
Talking to reporters,a group of retirees, includingMuhammad Hafizullah, Gul Jamal, Fazal Hassan and others,said that government employees,who retiredafterNovember,2014were entitled to get group insurance, but those who had reached the age of superannuationbefore thatperiodwere notentitled to it.
