LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather continued to prevail in the city here Wednesday while Met office predicted scattered rain during the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country and likely to grip upper parts of the country on Thursday (today). They predicted that rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat divisions, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal and Sukkur divisions.
Rainfall was only recorded at Drosh, Dalbandin and Kalat (01mm). Met officials said Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Parachinar where mercury dropped down to -01°C while in Lahore, maximum temperature was 26°C, minimum was 14.6°C and humidity level was 36 percent.
