He said that NAB had starting harassing PPP leadership by issuing notices to their leaders, including former provincial minister Ziaullah Afridi, Liaquat Shabab and others. Gohar Inqilabi said that it would be his party's first demonstration against NAB but they could expand it and hold a sit-in.

He said the PPP provincial leaders including Humayun Khan, Liaquat Shabab, Zulfiqar Afghani and others, would address the protesters. Meanwhile, the dissident activists of People's Youth Organisation (PYO), who had been demanding action against the corrupt ministers, said they would also organise a demonstration in support of NAB on Friday.

PYO former vice-president Qari Khalid said they had demanded NAB to initiate cases against our party's corrupt ministers and).

He said: "Let the PPP leaders hold their demonstration on Thursday. We will hold ours in support of NAB on Friday." Qari Khalid said they would not allow the NAB-affected leaders to pressure national institutions.
