Food enthusiasts are found in all places but ordering a dish of your preference from an entirely different country seems like an impracticable task. However, this British individual, the owner of an Indian restaurant has managed to make it possible.

Faz Ahmed, is a British born with roots in India, who is also the owner of an Indian Restaurant called The Akash, in the city of Portsmouth, England; who took on the mission of delivering food all the way to Bordeaux, France with the help of a specially chartered private plane.

The idea was pitched in by a regular customer at the restaurant who happened to be a pilot and took on the job of transporting the food to the eager folks in France craving some sizzling and fiery curry.

Faz has also stuck to his promise of having no delivery charges over the order of 12 pounds. However chartering the plane has cost him 15,000 pounds which has been taken care of by sponsors.

After landing at Bordeaux Saucats airfield, the takeaway which included 170 dishes, 75 portions of rice, 100 poppadoms and 10 servings of mango chutney was served to an approximate number of 50 guests in the hanger.

Faz has also considered moving beyond France if the clients are willing to pay for it.
