An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was planted and exploded outside a government primary school for girls in Landhi on Sunday afternoon; no casualties were reported.
SHO Sharafi Goth police, Fateh Mohammed Sheikh, said security personnel were immediately dispatched whereas a team of the Bomb Disposal Squad and forensic experts were also called for.
As per initial reports, the outer wall of the school and two vehicles parked nearby were damaged.
