Milad function at girls college

Islamabad: The Islamabad Model College for Girls, I-14/3 organised the Eid Milad-un-Nabi on campus to celebrate the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

First principal of the college Zahida Powar was the chief guest on the occasion. Principal Dr Balqees Nabi presented flower bracelets to the chief guest and all teachers as a token of recognition of their services.

Students, teachers, staff members and other participants did a complete reading of the Holy Quran 61 times. Wearing bright coloured ‘dupattas’ with white uniform, the students recited popular ‘naats’ in the reverence of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to the applause of participants. The speakers shed light on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) urging people to follow them to lead a successful life.
