ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif paid rich tribute to former senior judge of Supreme Court late Rana Bhagwandas who passed away Monday morning and he has written letter to his widow for expressing his heartfelt grief on the demise of illustrious judge and jurist.
Prime Minister Nawaz in his personal condolence letter has said that Rana Bhagwandas was a man of honour, conviction and the finest of human virtues. He reminded the widow that her personal loss was irreparable and prayed for her to bear it with courage, patience, equanimity and fortitude. “He was a judge with impeccable character, flawless integrity, and a keen consciousness of the responsibilities of his high office,” the prime minister observed. He recounted the services of the late judge of the apex court who also served as chairman of FPSC. “As a Pakistani, he was imbued with the deepest sense of patriotism and love for his nation. Indeed Pakistan will forever remain proud of him,” the prime minister remarked.
