KARAK: A sub-committee of the Senate standing committee on petroleum and natural resources has decided to refer the oil and gas theft case to National Accountability Bureau for a transparent probe. It also approved establishment of burn centers in Karak, Hangu and Kohat.
A meeting of the committee with its Chairman Senator Abdul Nabi Bangash was held on Monday at Secretariat Hall in Karak. Senator Rozi Khan Kakar, deputy commissioners and district police officers of Karak, Kohat and Hangu and officials of the oil and gas companies attended the meeting. The meeting expressed concern over the theft of crude oil from the flow line of oil and gas company and decided to refer the case to NAB for a transparent enquiry.
