Rawalpindi: An IT official employed in the state-owned, Pakistan Television (PTV) and his wife were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their Rawalpindi house on Tuesday, 13-year-old daughter of the deceased told police.
Fakhar Hamid was serving with PTV as IT Director while his wife Humaira Fakhar was visiting professor and attached with University of Lahore, Islamabad. They were living in house number 32/B, Data Ganj Buksh Road, Sadiqabad, Rawalpindi.
Maham, 13, daughter of the deceased on returning from her school in the afternoon, found her father and mother lying on the floor of the bathroom of their bedroom. She called male servant who informed their relatives.
The police engaged in the investigation when contacted said that the aspect of murder cannot be ruled out, however, the police were investigating on every aspect of the case. The police were waiting for post-mortem report of Fakhar Hamid and his wife to get direction of the case and resolve the mystery.
