The Special Branch, Islamabad, has installed five walkthrough gates and arranged for training of security guards by the Bomb Disposal Squad for provision of foolproof security at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), the police spokesman said.
On the orders of Assistant Inspector General Special Branch Islamabad Waqar Ahmed Chohan five walkthrough gates have been installed in different wards for provision of foolproof security arrangements at the PIMS on Friday. A walkthrough gate was installed in Emergency Ward, second in OPD, third in Children's Ward OPD, fourth in General Ward, whereas fifth in Officers Ward of PIMS.
In addition, training was imparted to the security staff of PIMS by the Bomb Disposal Squad, Islamabad. The security staf fwas trained in technical checking of people, vehicles and luggage as well as area sweeping. The purpose of walkthrough gates and organisation of security training is to provide and ensure foolproof security at the PIMS. The Islamabad Police, Special Branch and Bomb Disposal Squad, Islamabad, always endeavour to ensure safety and foolproof security of the residents of Islamabad.
