Former US president Barack Obama has said Pakistani government had no knowledge of al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden's presence in Abbottabad.
Speaking at the second day of the 15th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2017 in New Delhi , he said, "We had no evidence that Pakistani government was aware of Osama bin Laden’s presence in Abbottabad. We obviously looked at it," he said
Osama bin Laden was killed in a US raid in Abbottabad on May 2by Navy SEALs.
The US accused the al-Qaeda chief of perpetrating 9/11 attacks on New York that killed over 3000 people in 2001.
