TIMERGARA: Al-Khidmant Foundation (AKF), Lower Dir, on Thursdaydistributed textbooks, stationery and sports stuff among prisoner students at district prison Timergara.
AKF Lower Dir president Yaqoobur Rahman along with his team visited Timergara prison and distributed textbooks, stationery and sports gears among 20 prisoner students.Talking to reporters, Yaqoobur Rahman said the AKF would soon establish vocational centre for women prisoners inside the prison.
He said all available resources would be utilised to soon establish the women vocational centre to make them able to start a profession after their release from prison. He said the AKF would also establish a separate sports centre for juvenile prisoners.
