GUJRANWALA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) central leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Monday said that Nawaz Sharif had left with no option except to surrender himself before the courts and law.
Addressing a public meeting here, he said the PPP would support the efforts for conducting the general elections in time. Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will announce the next plan to meet the country’s challenges in his address at the party’s foundation day on December 5 in Islamabad. The PTI chief is conducting dialogue of joint election campaign with that party which is involved in Benazir Bhutto murder. Khan is surrounded by all corruption kings, he said.
Kaira further said that the PML-N leaders were abusing the courts.
“Now there is no door left open for Nawaz Sharif to return to politics.” The PPP leader said this public gathering had proved that the PPP was still the most popular party of Pakistan and its activists would work with more zeal to make the party victorious in the general elections of 2018. “There is no chance that Asif Ali Zardari will meet Nawaz Sharif because the PPP is not ready to trust the PML-N leadership anymore. Now Nawaz will have to face the courts,” he added.
Criticising the PTI, he said the KP government had failed to serve the public of the province. “Now the PTI leaders are regretting that the masses’ problems have not been resolved,” he claimed. Earlier, Kaira visited the Gujranwala press club and addressed the journalists.
Pakistan People’s Party district president Rao Ikram Ali Khan, Khawaja Tariq Naveed Lone, Engineer Ayaz Naveed Lone, Lala Asadullah Papa, Khalid Islam Dar, Mian Azhar Hassan Dar and others were also present on the occasion.
