A citizen was shot dead by unidentified attackers in the city’s Malir area on Tuesday. Officials identified the victim as 50-year-old Rashid and said he was targeted in Malir’s Rafa-e-Aam Society. He was shot multiple times and died on the spot. Investigators suspected personal enmity as a possible reason for the murder. The victim’s body was shifted to the JPMC for medico-legal formalities. In Qasba Colony, 34-year-old Sarwar Bashir was shot and injured by an unknown man. He was admitted to the ASH for treatment.
