RAWALPINDI. Judge of Special Customs Court, Rawalpindi, on Thursday rejected Ayyan Ali’s plea for granting ‘permanent exemption’ from appearance in the currency smuggling case and ordered her to appear on the next hearing of the case. The court expressed its strong ire at Ayyan’s non-presence and ordered her to appear on June 6, 2017 at all costs.

The court had granted exemption only for one day and it has now ordered the supermodel to appear in the court on June 6.

Counsel Latif Khosa was also not present in the court on Thursday. The court asked about the schedule of Ayyan Ali and the time when she would be available in Pakistan. The junior lawyer told the court that she was busy in Dubai in modeling projects and she would come back in the month of June this year.

The court showed its strong anger against the supermodel and ordered her to appear on June 6, 2017 at all costs. Supermodel Ayyan Ali was arrested on charges of money laundering after being caught with over half-a-million dollars by customs officials at the Islamabad's Benazir Bhutto International Airport. She was granted bail in July 2016 after she had spent around four months in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail and after her judicial remand was extended 16 times.
