President Donald Trump said last week heexpected to release the new order this week.Trump said the new directive will address legal concernsraised in Washington state, San Francisco and elsewhere aboutthe original order, which was issued on Jan. 27.

The order, which was quickly implemented, caused chaos atairports around the world as visa holders heading to the UnitedStates were pulled off planes or turned around upon arrival atU.S.airports.

Americans were deeply divided over the order, which wascondemned by prominent U.S.companies and allies before beingtemporarily blocked by federal courts.

Trump criticized the court´s action in a series of tweets, including one that read: "The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country,is ridiculous and will be overturned!"
