PESHAWAR: Free medical treatment services under Sihat Insaf Card Scheme have begun at private sector hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well.
The services were formally launched at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) in Hayatabad Peshawar. Senior Minister for Health Shahram Khan Tarakai inaugurated the services in RMI on Wednesday. Card holder patients will be provided quality healthcare service in Orthopedic, Gynecology, Nephrology, Pathology, Radiology and a number of other specialties in RMI, said a handout.
Addressing as chief guest a function held in this connection, Health Minister said that Sihat Insaf Card Scheme was the first and unique scheme ever initiated in the country.
