SIU arrests two

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Karachi arrested two men suspected of involvement in street crimes.

SSP SIU Karachi Mohammad Farooq Awan said Subhan Ali and Owais were arrested in Garden and found in possession of two pistols and four snatched cell phones.

He added that Subhan Ali was wanted by the Brigade police station for the murder of Ehtishan Younus. He had killed Younus near Taj Complex in Saddar for resisting robbery in the presence of the victim’s father, Younus Nazeer, a superintendent of the Pakistan Rangers.

Subhan Ali also confessed to his involvement in the murder of a rickshaw driver, Uban Shah, on Kashmir Road for resisting robbery.
