Man murdered for ‘honour’

PAKPATTAN: A man was murdered for honour here on Tuesday.
Mumtaz of Chak Kand Shahman doubted that Qamar Zaman had developed relations with his wife. On the day of the incident, Qamar along with his brothers Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Ramzan was on his way when Mumtaz, Mushtaq and an unidentified man allegedly shot him dead. Qaboola police have registered a case.
GIRL ABDUCTED: Thirteen people abducted a girl here on Tuesday.
Nisar Ahmad and 12 others entered the house of Muhammad Siddique at Shakar Ganj Colony and allegedly abducted his maid Bushra Bibi. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
Three booked under Amplifier Act

PAKPATTAN: Police have booked three prayer leaders under the Amplifier Act. Those booked are Qari Binyamin of Chak Pedu Basharat, Qari Muhammad Tufail of Chak 93/D and Karim Din.
