Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the final results of its ATTC and CT programmes for the Semester Spring, 2014 and placed the same at its website www.aiou.edu.pk
AIOU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui pressed the computer-key, declaring the results. Controller of Examinations Iqbal Hussain, Deputy Controller Abdul Shakoor and Computer Section In-charge Shabnum N Shahid, were also present on the occasion.
As per the announcement by the controller of examinations, the result cards of all the students are being sent at their given addresses.
Meanwhile, the students can also download their results cards from the websites.
The course enrolments of CT programme were 71,451, while the number of students were 19430. 408 exams centre were setup for CT examinations and 283 examinations centres were setup across the country for ATTC examinations.
The vice-chancellor congratulated the controller of examinations and Incharge Computer Section for timely declaring the results. AIOU, he said is engaged in bringing qualitative improvement in the university’s overall working to promote educational standard in the country. In order to upgrade the university’s standard, greater efforts are being made for bringing qualitative improvement in the university’s services. To priority is being given for strengthening students’ support system.
For qualitative enhancement, schedules and deadlines will strictly be observed, admissions, exams, holding workshops, declaring results, sending books would be held on its scheduled time, he added. To prepare the staff of Computer Section to handle and perform multiple-jobs, the University’s Computer Section would be expended and stat-of-the-art technology will also be introduced in the University’s admissions, exams, computer and mailing of books sections.
According to controller of examinations, results of PTC examinations will be announced within a week-time in which 61,542 students had been appeared in the examinations across the country. He said that results of B.Ed programme would also be announced during the current month.
