NEW DELHI: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said Thursday the demonetisation of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes will lead to closure of "printing press" in Pakistan, where, he alleged, fake Indian currency notes are printed, reports foreign media.
Levelling a frivolous allegation against Pakistan, Raju congratulated Modi or the "bold decision", and said the action will check corruption and black money besides curbing terror funding and circulation of fake Indian currency notes. The minister said fake currency note has become one of the major headaches for security agencies till now.
