BUREWALA: A Highway Department’s road inspector was shot dead over enmity at Satellite Town on Friday.
Muhammad Sabir Dogar was on his way home after dropping his children and wife in the school when two armed assailants intercepted him and shot him dead. It is pertinent to mention here that Sabir Dogar’s younger brother Nadeem Ahmad Dogar was also murdered on Dec 15, 2008 while his cousin and ex-MPA Dr Nazir Ahmad Mithu Dogar was also murdered over rivalry in the family on May 31, 2009. Muhammad Sabir Dogar remained behind the bars for 10 months on the charge of killing his cousin Dr Nazir Mithu but later released after a trial by a court. City police have registered a murder case against Nazir Mithu’s brother Khalil Ahmad alias Punno Dogar, his son Dilawar Khalil Dogar and Niaz Ahmad under section 302/34 PPC and started investigation.
