Dr Qaiser Waheed was elected on Sunday as chairman of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) for the year 2016-17.
As per an announcement, he was elected the chairman at a meeting of the PPMA’s central executive committee.
Ejaz Ahmed Siddiqui was elected as the senior vice chairman of the body.
Addressing the event, Dr Qaiser said he would do his best to resolve problems being faced by the Pharma industry.
