International Islamic University rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai has said that Balochistan youth are the future of Pakistan as they are committed to the prosperity and progress of the country.
He stated this while speaking to a delegation of 180 students of different universities of Balochistan.
Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University Quetta Dr. Javed Iqbal, CEO of Devote Balochistan Salma Muhammad Hassni and faculty members were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Masoom, who also belongs to Balochistan, informed visitors about the exploitative tactics of the enemy of Pakistan and urged them to play their progressive role to counter the negative propaganda with courage and strong determination.
He asked them to become a symbol of peace and love and to preach unity and harmony and discourage tendencies of hatred among the people.
“The Almighty Allah has given marvellous abilities and capabilities to everyone. All students of Balochistan are very talented. What they need is to set their goals high and act to achieve them wholeheartedly,” he said.
The IIU rector said knowledge was the greatest tool to make everything possible, so students should set their future with clear mind and understanding.
He said the success lied in hard work and dedication.
Dr. Javed Iqbal appreciated the warm welcome for visitors and said he hoped that IIU would continue its cooperation and collaboration with the universities of Balochistan.
He said Baloch youth were aware of their obligations and were ready to play their constructive role for peace and progress of Pakistan.
Dr. Mohammad Zia-ul-Haq of the IIU Islamic Research Institute highlighted the distinct role of youth in reshaping the future of Pakistan.
He termed students a precious asset of the nation and urged them to do relentless efforts for success.
